I can remember being in sophomore year of high school in Chicago, Hubbard high School. I had a music teacher named Laurence Mack who would always be asking students to come do work at his house after school hours. He invited me. My mother let me go??? And to this day takes ZERO responsibility. Even though she knew it happened, she did nothing! No police report, no help for me whatsoever.
I went and he sexually molested me there and in class also. I told my parents and they did nothing. It was basically just forgotten. Until about 8 years ago when I stayed at my childhood home and this repressed memory came back with all details.
I have been bed rotting ever since and trying to find out if he is still living. And recently found out 9/2026, that he is now 86 and living in Minnesota. Also found out he was in prison for 6 years or other children he raped. Now i am working with a support group in Chicago called “Resilience” who work closely with FBI and Chicago police to see if charges can still be brought.
I'm now 60 and my mother has just blamed me for not telling her?? But I did tell you mom, you did nothing.
